WHO ARE WE

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Tiny Miracles Preschool!

Tiny Miracles Preschool is owned and operated by Eunice Roberts. The center is licensed by the State of Washington and exceeds all health and safety standards as required by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. We also closely follow CDC guidlines during the current COVID-19 outbreak to ensure we remain healthy and safe. Tiny Miracles Preschool is located in the Renton Highlands; 1 mile away from the city of Newcastle.

Eunice and staff have a deep passion for early education, years of experience in preschool and elementary schools. At Tiny Miracles, we believe well-designed preschool education programs produce long-term improvements in school success, including higher achievement test scores, lower rates of grade repetition and higher educational attainment. The Tiny Miracles program is designed to develop the whole child, including social and emotional development and self-regulation. Our program regularly assesses children’s learning and development to monitor how well they are accomplishing their goals.

"I don't even know where to start with how amazing this place is. My children have been here since they opened and I have gone out of my way to ensure that they stay here. They don't just watch the children, they love and educate them too (which is way more important!). The care is incredible - every child is treated as an individual and they strive to ensure that their voice is heard. This place is absolutely incredible and I am thankful every day that I found it!"

The Tiny Miracles curriculum engages and nurtures all aspects of a child’s development. This includes science, art, drama, social skills instruction, cooperative learning, special enrichment guests etc. Teachers facilitate play based and small groups learning as children move at their own pace through these activities. Our belief is that children are competent individuals who can construct their own meaning of their experiences. Teachers' role is to provide the opportunity for discovery and learning.

When you visit Tiny Miracles, you will find engaged and happy children who are led by loving and skilled teachers with experience in early childhood education. Children who still nap are provided a cot and nap space while children who do not require a nap work with the teacher in quiet activities. Children in their pre-kindergarten year also meet in pre-k activity groups daily during morning learning activities.

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT

Tiny Miracles Preschool is a home based child care center offering an excellent play-based preschool program along with an individualized, enriching curriculum. The center's business philosophy combines the personal attention of a home daycare with the intellectually challenging education program of a learning center. The Renton location is a single classroom environment, ages 3 and up, with a maximum of 12 children and 2 teachers (ratio 8:1).

"This is a fantastic school that I'm so glad I found! I love that it's a range of ages so the older kids have opportunities to help and lead, and the younger kids have daily modeled big-kid goals!

Sandra and Eunice are wonderful people. They're both open, honest, communicative, and supportive. It's more than evident that they care about the kids and have been positive role models for my daughter.

I have zero regrets moving to this school and will miss them when my kiddo goes to Kindergarten next year."

Studies show that children benefit most when teachers engage in stimulating interactions that support learning and are emotionally supportive. Interactions that help children acquire new knowledge and skills provide input to children, elicit verbal responses and reactions from them, and foster engagement in and enjoyment of learning. National evaluations tell us that effective use of curricula focused on such specific aspects of learning as language and literacy, math, or socio-emotional development provide a substantial boost to children’s learning. For these reasons, Tiny Miracles believes in offering high levels of instructional support while building confidence, competence and creativity in an environment that is safe, loving, encouraging and stimulating.
